One 18K Art Deco white gold vintage style Octagon shape diamond engagement ring from the 1920s. The ring is in outstanding condition very lightly worn with an intricate filigree octagon Art Deco design. It is set with one round old mine cut diamond weighing approximately 0.36cts featuring a color of H and a clarity of VS1. NOTE: There is a small nick on the edge of the diamond but it is not noticeable without magnification and does not affect the integrity of the ring at all. The ring weighs 2.60 grams and is a finger size 8.5. The shank measures 2.55mm at the shoulders and 0.90mm at the base. The top of the ring measures 8.74mm wide. Appraisal Value: $2000. This ring will be shipped in a vintage suede hand made ring box. These can be purchased separately from my store as well in an array of colors. MARKINGS / HISTORY - Original art deco filigree ring from 1920's. No markings but it was professionally xray tested as 18 karat solid white gold.
CONDITION - Good vintage condition. White gold has been professionally polished and cleaned. Diamond is secure with a minimal nick on the edge that is only viewable with magnification. Minimal age appropriate patina & wear remains.
AUTHENTICITY - Each item in my shop has been hand-selected and inspected by a GIA Graduate Gemologist. The piece will come with a written insurance appraisal detailing the piece and showing it's appraisal value. This appraisal would be accepted by any insurance company.
