One 14K yellow gold antique Victorian flower hair barrette. All solid 14K with a snap closure. The barrette features a unique black enamel clover and diamond setting in very good condition with some light noticeable wear. This is a very unique and rare piece from the mid 1800s. There is some light natural wear that can be seen throughout, but in overall great condition for its age. It is set with one rose cut diamond weighing approximately 0.03cts set in the center of a black enamel flower. The barrette measures 1 1/8 inches in length and 15.57mm in width and weighs 6.14 grams. Appraisal value is $1500.
